Job summary

Eat That Frog in Plymouth is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to promote equality of opportunity for learners with SEND. Working under SENCO and the Teacher, you will support small groups or one-to-one to help learners engage in their programmes and develop ILPs and life skills. This role requires an enhanced DBS check and a 6-month probation.

It is term-time only, 41 weeks, 34.5 hours per week, on-site. The employer is a Disability Confident Employer committed to inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Supports learners with SEND under guidance of SENCO and Teacher.
  • Assists with monitoring and delivery of Individual Learning Plans (ILP).
  • Supports development of learners' life skills.

Job description

Contributing towards and supporting teachers and instructors with the monitoring and delivery of the learners Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and life skills.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check with a 6-month probationary period.
