The Cedars Academy is an 11 to 18 academy in Birstall committed to high standards, raising attainment, and creative excellence from staff and pupils. We focus on pupil success, providing a vibrant curriculum that promotes a love of learning and prepares students for their next steps.
We are currently recruiting: A Learning Support Assistant on a permanent contract starting 22 August 2025.
This role involves working under the supervision of a teacher to support teaching, learning, and related activities according to academy policies. Responsibilities include supporting whole class activities or assisting individual or small groups of pupils.
Location: The Cedars Academy, Birstall, Leicestershire, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust
Hours: 30 hours per week (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 5, pay point 7, FTE £24,408 (actual salary £16,933 pa)

This position is a regulated activity requiring an enhanced disclosure and criminal records check, including a barred list check.
