Job summary

The Isle of Wight College is seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team. Job Role: Learning Support Assistant - Term Time Only (34 weeks per year)

Hours: Flexible up to 18 per week, with the opportunity to work additional sessional hours as required.

Salary: £12.21 per hour plus holiday allowance paid as part of your salary equivalent to an extra £2.27 per hour (2025/26)

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold:

·Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, (or be willing to work towards with financial support from the College)

·Level 2 qualification inn Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties(or willingness to work towards with financial support from the College)

·Hold a First Aid Qualification (or willingness to work towards with financial support from the College)

·Demonstrable working knowledge of provision of Personal Care Support
