Job description

St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Merrow, Guildford, is looking for a Learning Support Assistant. This role would initially be based in EYFS.

Hours: 8.30am – 3.10pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidate will:

• Enjoy working as part of a happy, hardworking team.
• Be enthusiastic, creative and positive.
• Have initiative and be able to motivate and encourage children.
• Offer classed based learning support for students as well as lead small group interventions.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have experience as an LSA/Teaching Assistant desirable, but not essential.

Interviews: The mornings of either 14th or 15th July 2025
