The setting focuses on pupil development, with an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and in emotional, social, and behavioral skills.

The school is seeking a passionate team player for this short-term role, with potential for long-term placement for the right candidate. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant will bring new skills and be eager to develop their abilities to meet individual student needs and positively impact the wider school community.

The position involves working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses including Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviors. A proactive and confident approach to managing situations is essential.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with additional needs/disabilities
• Experience with students with SEMH and challenging behaviors
• Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification or equivalent
