Job summary

Evenlode Primary School in Penarth is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to support children with their learning under the guidance of the teacher. You will be part of a dedicated team, forming positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.

We are looking for someone with strong literacy and numeracy, good communication, and a flexible approach to cover the full primary age range. DBS Enhanced & Barred checks and EWS registration are required.

We are looking to appoint a skilled individual to join our team at Evenlode. We are looking for someone is caring, enthusiastic and will enjoy working as part of a dedicated and professional team. We are seeking candidates who are confident and experienced in supporting children with their learning, under the guidance of the teacher.

Pay Details: Level 2 (Grade 4),

• Have experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to form positive and effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals
• Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Be flexible and willing to work across the full primary age range, depending on school needs

Evenlode Primary School is a two-form entry school for children from Nursery to Year Six. Our Nursery children are in their own setting on Bute Lane in Penarth and the children from Reception to Year Six are on our site at Evenlode Avenue.
