The role and what we are looking for
Your role as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will be integral in supporting the progress of all children at Oasis Restore, helping them achieve their individual educational outcomes. We seek LSAs willing to work towards the HLTA qualification. You will support the delivery of a bespoke, skills-based curriculum, working with individual children and small groups to facilitate a personalised and aspirational education for all. You will work as part of an education team within departments, contribute to regular assessments, and participate in formulation meetings to report on progress and next steps.
You will collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons that develop curious and dedicated learners, meeting their individual needs and interests. There will be opportunities to contribute to and develop a creative curriculum underpinned by progressive pedagogies, aligned with the national curriculum, setting a high standard for learning.
