Job summary

St Joseph’s Primary School in Guildford is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils in the classroom and in small group interventions. The role supports access to the curriculum and aims to help children progress, with a nurturing approach.

Working hours are 8.35am to 3.05pm daily, 39 weeks per year (30 hours per week). The post offers CPD opportunities and a supportive team in a Good Ofsted environment.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated LSA to work in our primary school. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children within the classroom with accessing learning and developing all skills. Experience in delivering small group interventions would also be preferable. St Joseph’s is a supportive and friendly primary school.

This is a full time position of 8.35am - 3:05pm daily. Each day worked includes a lunch duty. The post is a permanent position (39 weeks per year), 30hrs per week. The salary range (FTE) is £25,133 (pro rata); the actual salary range is £18,230 - £18,344.
