The Teaching Assistant will provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring pupils stay engaged and make progress in their learning.
The Teaching Assistant will assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining a structured, positive learning environment.
The Teaching Assistant will support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, helping to implement strategies that promote confidence, engagement, and academic progress.
The Teaching Assistant will work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Have experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
Be adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting children of all abilities.
Have experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs (desirable but not essential).
Be confident in working both one-to-one and in small groups to support learning.
Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (desirable but not essential).
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
A clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Two professional references covering the last three years.
Experience supporting children in an educational setting.
