Job summary

First Class Supply are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in partner schools across North Tyneside. You will assist in the educational and social development of pupils under guidance, help implement Individual Education Programmes, and support students with behavioural and emotional needs to participate in activities.

Roles cover Early Years, Primary, Secondary and SEND settings; pay depends on experience and qualifications. Interviews and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with learning or behavioural needs.
• Ability to work under guidance of teachers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in educational and social development of pupils under teacher guidance.
• Support implementation of Individual Education Programmes for pupils.
• Assist with recording reading logs and homework diaries and with student records.
