Qualifications

• Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant preferred.
• Ability to support children with SEND or emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across KS1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2).
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils.
• Assist with phonics, early reading, writing and number skills.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Skills

Experience working with children in a primary school setting

Strong understanding of early learning and phonics

Calm and consistent approach to behaviour support

Nurturing and proactive attitude

Ability to work well as part of a team

Confidence in building positive relationships with pupils
