Job summary

Holy Trinity CE Junior School in Wallington is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a pupil-specific fixed-term role until 31 August 2027. The post supports pupils with Education Health Care Plans within a caring school ethos. Training will be provided for ASD or trauma-informed support.

Hours are 17h05m per week, 5 days a week, with a small unpaid break; salary range £29,562–£30,843 FTE pro rata to hours. Safeguarding and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and a determination to make a difference to pupil progress and behaviour.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as using his/her own initiative
• Good English, Maths and IT skills
• High expectations of themselves and the children they work with including promoting independence where possible
• An ability to work with parents

Responsibilities

• As a member of our team, you will be actively involved in helping to create and promote inspirational learning opportunities for our children.
• Learning Support Assistants work to support children with Educational Health Care Plans to meet their targets.
• LSAs work within the direction of the class teacher to support children and must be flexible, creative, resilient and a team player.
