A welcoming and supportive school in Basildon is seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated Inclusion Hub team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong SEN background who is committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. The role will begin through Protocol Education with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
• Support students within the school's Inclusion Hub
• Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience supporting children with SEND
• Is passionate about making a positive difference in young people's lives
• Demonstrates patience, resilience and excellent communication skills
• Has a good understanding of behaviour management strategies
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
