Job summary

Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton is seeking two Learning Support Assistants to join the Learning Support Team. You will work under the direction of the SEN Co-ordinator and SL to help students with additional needs participate fully in school life.

Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, with a pro rata salary of £26,847–£29,071 (SCP 6–11). Previous experience with young people is an advantage, and an enhanced DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support students with additional needs under the direction of the SEN Co-ordinator and Senior Leadership.
• Help ensure that students are fully included in the life of the learning community and have equal opportunity to fulfil their potential.
