Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Term Time Only +2 Weeks) to provide in-class and out-of-class support for learners with identified needs. The role supports literacy, numeracy, and the use of assistive technology to promote independence.

You will work with the Student Support team, plan with staff, and help implement healthcare plans and exam concessions where needed. A level 2/3 Learning Support qualification and GCSEs are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent.
• Recognised Level 2/3 qualification in Learning Support or equivalent.
• Experience working with young people and learners with additional support needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support for groups or individuals with identified needs in and out of class.
• Support literacy and numeracy development for learners with difficulties.
• Assist with planning, differentiation and target setting with curriculum staff.
• Record and adapt strategies using ILPs and college systems.
• Support transitions and enrichment activities and healthcare plans as required.
