Your role will primarily involve supporting learners who struggle to keep up with their school work. You will help create a fun, friendly, and safe environment for students to thrive both academically and personally.

As a Learning Support Assistant, your duties will include providing general classroom support to the class teacher, managing classroom behavior, assisting with lesson preparation, helping keep the classroom tidy, and listening to students read and practice phonics.

The ideal candidate will be calm, compassionate, confident, and proactive. You should be able to adapt your approach to meet the needs of children, including those with learning difficulties who require extra support.

Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential; personality traits such as confidence and enthusiasm are highly valued.
