The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is inviting applications for Learning Support Assistants across multiple schools. Roles are full-time and part-time, term-time with inset days and a 39-week pattern.
The successful candidate will support identified students with SEN, enable curriculum access, and progress through Teacher Training schemes. We seek a positive, team-oriented individual with good organisational skills and GCSEs in English and Maths.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring and energetic person to join our Learning Support Faculty. The team are dedicated, positive and friendly. You should be approachable, patient and understanding to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. You will Many of our Learning support assistants have had the opportunity to progress into Teaching with our Teacher Training schemes.
Duties involved:
Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies and help keep pupils on task
Interact with, and support pupils, according to individual needs and skills
Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate

English and Mathematics (at least GCSE grade 4 or equivalent) Good general standard of education - GCSEs or equivalent and A Levels or equivalent.
