Job summary

Milk Education is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils in UK schools through flexible placements across primary and secondary settings. The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group support, working with pupils needing SEND or behavioural support to enhance learning and wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will have UK school experience, a nurturing approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff while adhering to safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a UK school is essential.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND or behavioural needs.
  • Confident working across primary or secondary settings.
  • Patient, consistent, and nurturing approach.
  • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour support.
  • Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing.
  • Engage with pupils to monitor progress and provide feedback.
  • Maintain a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Experienced

Milk Education is working closely with primary and secondary schools to recruit experienced Learning Support Assistants who are passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

This role is ideal for LSAs who are confident working in schools and are looking for flexible, rewarding work with the support of a peoplefocused agency.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Work with students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour support
  • Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing
Who We're Looking For:
