An established educational institution is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to empower students with additional learning needs. In this rewarding role, you will provide tailored support, fostering social interaction and communication skills through engaging activities. Collaborating with curriculum staff, you'll help create inclusive learning environments and ensure students achieve their Personal Learning Plans. Support students with additional learning needs and/or disabilities to access their study programmes, ensuring their success and progress. Work effectively and confidently on a one-to-one basis or with small groups in classroom settings, promoting social development through activities, clubs, and events both in social areas and across the college. Encourage social interaction and good communication skills, supporting participation in small group activities. This role is 30 hours a week and 40 weeks a year.
Key Responsibilities
All post holders will be trained as Fire Marshals and First Aiders.
