Job summary

Bridge College, part of The Together Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help young people with learning difficulties access education across extended curriculum and residential contexts.

You will work to remove barriers to learning, support transitions, and contribute to planning and progression records, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ wellbeing and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with additional needs preferred.
• Ability to support learners with communication, personal care, and mobility needs.
• Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team including teachers and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to young people by removing barriers to learning and aiding transitions.
• Contribute to planning, recording, and evidencing progression.
• Support timetable activities including swimming and hydrotherapy and residential courses.
• Maintain records using college information systems and data platforms.
• Liaise with families and carers while maintaining confidentiality.
