Job summary

The role provides note-taking support for students, 1:1 assistance under individual plans, and duties related to examinations including reading, scribing and invigilation. A safeguarding mindset and empathy for students are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with post-16 learners is desirable but not essential.
• Physical fitness for manual handling and personal care tasks (with training).

Responsibilities

• Provide note-taking for students, discreetly or alongside as required.
• Offer 1:1 support following each student’s plan and exam duties.
• Assist with reading, scribing and invigilation during examinations.
