We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for our 6-year-old daughter who attends Prospect House School in Putney. The role involves supporting her in the classroom and providing wraparound nanny care after school and during holidays.
Our daughter has a rare congenital syndrome resulting in hearing loss and pronunciation difficulties. We also have a 12-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter. Both parents work full time. A driver would be preferred.
Responsibilities include:
The youngest daughter has an EHCP with support from LSA, speech therapy, OT, and a Teacher of the Deaf. She is doing well academically and socially. The role offers the chance to work with various professionals in a supportive environment.
The nanny duties during term-time include transporting children, cooking meals, supervising homework and music practice, packing school bags, and supervising bath time. During holidays, activities, play dates, meal preparation, laundry, and tidying are required.
We seek a long-term candidate; our previous LSA/nanny was with us for over three years.
Pay: £20-£22 per hour (gross) / £48,000 gross per annum
