Job summary

Aspris College North Wales is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Education team. You will work with the class teacher to support across key stages, assist with pupil work and behaviour, and model positive conduct. Training and safeguarding checks are emphasised, with a focus on helping learners build confidence.

The role offers 8:30am to 3:30pm hours, a supportive environment, and access to ongoing professional development within a trauma-informed setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting in a classroom setting.
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification appropriate to the teaching and learning environment for learners aged 16–25.
• Experience with Maths and English is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with instructional activities and pupil support.
• Support pupil behaviour and establish positive relationships with learners.
• Respond to individual needs and provide a nurturing learning environment.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive school culture.
