Job summary

St Peter’s CofE Primary School (Market Bosworth) is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with special educational needs from September 2026 on a one-academic-year contract. You will support teachers, help pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective support to teachers and pupils, helping to deliver engaging learning activities and ensuring children make progress in their learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, supporting their academic, social and emotional needs and encouraging confidence, independence and participation in school life.
• Work collaboratively as part of the school team, creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
• Support our culture of inclusion, respect and belonging.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team from September 2026.

In this role, you will work closely with pupils who have special educational needs, providing support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your commitment and enthusiasm will play a crucial part in fostering a positive learning experience. This is a temporary position for one academic year, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our school’s mission and make a meaningful impact within our community.
