Job summary

Holy Trinity C of E Junior School in Wallington is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with EHCPs, working 1:1 or in small groups under the direction of the class teacher. The role requires flexibility, creativity and teamwork, with training provided for ASD/trauma awareness.

The position is fixed-term until 31 July 2027; it offers a pro rata salary of £29,562–£30,843 FTE based on 18–25 hours per week and DBS safeguarding checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Learning Support Assistants work 1:1 (or with small groups) to support children with Educational Health Care Plans to meet their targets.
• Work within the direction of the class teacher to support children and be flexible, creative, resilient and a team player.
• Knowledge of ASD or trauma would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
