Job summary

Ravensden CE Primary Academy is seeking a proactive 1-1 Learning Support Assistant to work across the school with a main focus on children with SEND. The role supports class teaching and contributes to an inclusive learning environment within a small rural primary setting.

This part-time, fixed-term position offers 22 hours per week (Mon–Fri), term-time only plus 5 training days, pro-rata. Experience with SEND is advantageous; Paediatric First Aid or willingness to train is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Children’s Learning or Early Years Educator.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Class Teacher to support learning.
• Provide 1-1 assistance to children with SEND.
• Hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

The successful post-holder will be able to work alongside the Class Teacher. Experience of working with children with special needs would be an advantage. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate.
