Learning Support Assistant

Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: Full time, ongoing

Salary: £85 – £95 per day

The School/Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced learning support assistant who can take on a full-time ongoing role in a fantastic SEN school in Wolverhampton. The school strives to provide the best quality teaching and learning with an inclusive and personalised curriculum. They are passionate about preparing students for life and supporting them to achieve their personal goals. This is a full-time learning support assistant post and will run until the end of the academic year.

The candidate for this role will be experienced in supporting SEN children alongside children with a range of different academic attainment levels. This will require patience, commitment, and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment.

• PECS and Makaton training/experience
• ASD, SLD, Complex needs – Non-verbal needs experience
• Level 1 safeguarding certificate
• Recent school-based references
• Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
• Full DBS – on the update service
