Job summary

Catcote Academy invites applications for a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist team supporting learners with learning difficulties or disabilities. Job Type: Temporary and Permanent, Term Time Only + 5 Days

Catcote Academy and Catcote Futures provide learning for a wide range of students with Learning Difficulties or Disabilities.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our highly committed special Academy/College team. We teach across a range of abilities, ages and subjects. Applicants with previous experience of working within a SEN environment are preferable.

Flexibility and adaptability are essential criteria for this role. The postholder must be able to provide support across a range of classes and areas within the Trust, responding to operational needs on a daily basis. You must have a high level of resilience and possess the character needed to work in a demanding and often challenging environment.

Closing date: Monday 21st September 2026 (12 p.m. Noon)

Interviews: Thursday 24th September 2026
