Prudhoe Community High School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join its busy SEND team. The role runs 8:20am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday during term time plus 2 additional days.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player who can engage effectively with young people and support them academically, with some personal care if required. The school emphasises safeguarding and welfare of all children, with DBS disclosure required and penalties for unspent convictions considered.

Descripción del empleo

Required to start as soon as possible a Learning Support Assistant to join our busy SEND team. The hours would be 8.20am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday term time + 2 days. The successful candidate should be a dedicated team player with high expectations for learning. Positivity and flexibility are fundamental prerequisites to this role, as well as an ability to engage effectively with young people. This role may involve supporting students not only with academic support but also some personal care.
