Job summary

Arnold Hill Spencer Academy seeks a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Inclusion Team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support pupils with a wide range of needs, including autism and literacy/numeracy challenges, contributing to exam access arrangements, mentoring, and coaching.

You will help create a welcoming, high-expectations environment that supports students to achieve their best and grow in confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with a wide range of SEN and disabilities.
• Experience with exam access arrangements, mentoring or coaching preferred.
• Strong maths, science or English subject knowledge welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support students in literacy and numeracy as part of Inclusion Team.
• Assist with behaviour support and expected conduct in and around lessons.
• Promote independent learners and positive attitudes to learning.

Arnold Hill Spencer Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our experienced and supportive Learning Support Team on a full time, permanent basis.

This role is a key part of our Inclusion Team and offers a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities, including autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as challenges in literacy and numeracy.

We particularly welcome applicants with experience in areas such as exam access arrangements, mentoring or coaching, a background in sport, or strong subject knowledge in Maths, Science, or English. Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach are essential, as the role requires adapting to the evolving needs of our students.
