Job summary

Aspire People in Newark is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEND/SEMH in a full-time, temp-to-perm role starting immediately. The role runs 08:30–15:30, 1:1 or small groups, in-school environment.

You will promote inclusion, respond to individual needs, and create a safe learning space while de-escalating challenging behaviour through trusting relationships.

Qualifications

• Recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
• Must have a passion for education.
• High level of resilience and energy when supporting pupils.

Aspire People are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school located in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting immediately! The working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and you will be working 1:1 or in small groups with students with various learning difficulties and special educational needs.

The role requires high level of resilience and we are ideally looking for people who are energetic and have experience of working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.
