Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, to support pupils with SEND/SEMH. The role is full-time on a temp-to-perm basis, starting immediately, working 08:30–15:30 in a school setting, providing 1:1 or small-group support to students with varying learning needs.

The successful applicant will need resilience, energy, and a passion for education to promote inclusive practice and help de-escalate challenging behaviours in a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
• Must have a passion for education.

Job description

Aspire People are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting immediately! The working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and you will be working 1:1 or in small groups with students with various learning difficulties and special educational needs.

The role requires high level of resilience and we are ideally looking for people who are energetic and have experience of working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.
