£90 - £120 per day

They are currently seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team, someone who shares their ethos and is ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with additional needs.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism and Learning & Behavioural Difficulties
• Assisting in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities in collaboration with the class teacher
• Supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development
• Monitoring and reporting progress to the class teacher and SENCO
• Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Temp-to-perm role – potential for long-term placement for the right candidate

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism and behavioural challenges
• Background in care, social work, or psychology is highly desirable
• A genuine passion for supporting children with learning difficulties
• Empathetic, patient, and proactive in approach
• Confident in building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Holds a valid Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) on the update service or willing to apply for one
