Career Teachers are currently working with a Primary School based in Lambeth who are seeking an exceptional Learning Support Assistant.

Learning Support Assistant - Lambeth, London

The school holds a "Good" Ofsted grade and prides itself on its supportive and creative environment for both students and staff.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support the class teacher in developing the learning of all pupils and, at times, work with individual children on a 1:1 basis.

Role Details

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work either on a 1:1 basis or within a group of students.

The successful candidate will have previous LSA experience, ideally supporting children with ASD, ADHD, and Language Difficulties.

The ideal candidate is flexible, accommodating, and passionate about student progress both inside and outside the classroom.

Requirements

• A good academic background
• Ability to manage groups of children with strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Good organisational skills
