Job description

College Learning Support Assistant | Immediate Start

CER Education Recruitment are recruiting a number of members of staff to work in a Special Needs Environment at a College in Camberwell as Learning Support Assistants to start as soon as possible for 4 days per week - Monday through Thursday for the full academic year.

The schedule each day is 8:45am to 4:30pm

Ideal you will have the following:

• GCSE Maths and English or Equivalent
• Experience with children and/or adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and personal care along with experience with operating wheelchairs, Hoist Operation, Personal Care, Medication Administration, Etc.
• Experience supporting Learners with Complex Needs and Behavioural Needs
• A Valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

The College offer free in-house CPD courses to progress to higher pay scales throughout the academic year
