Learning Support Assistant

Education for Industry Group (EFI)

Full-Time (Monday - Friday)

Term Time Only

Fixed-term contract until August 2026

FRA: London, EC2M 6SE and LCBT: London - E1 6PX

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-centric Learning Support Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Further Education students with declared needs. The role works closely alongside students to support their day-to-day learning, in class and out of class, helping to remove any barriers they may face accessing learning and participation.

About you:

  • Qualifications:A good general level of education, including Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience:You will have experience of working or supporting young people with special educational needs in an education setting.
  • Expertise:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability tosupport the learning and development of students regardless of their starting points. Proficiency in IT facilities and packages and knowledge of safeguarding procedures in education is essential.
  • Passion:A genuine interest in promoting and supporting education for young people. Positive and proactive, you’ll be a collaborative team player committed to high standards and fostering student success.

Salary:

£25,889.33 per annum (0.975FTE), subject to qualifications and experience
