Job summary

Kirk Hallam Community Academy, part of the Nova Education Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team during an exciting period of school improvement. The role supports students’ learning and behaviour on an individual or small-group basis within the Learning Support facility or in the classroom.

The ideal applicant will have experience supporting young people with additional needs and will help facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.

Contract: Permanent, part time (32.5 hours), term time only

Closing Date: Monday 2nd November 2026 at 8am

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kirk Hallam Community Academy. You will be joining us at an exciting and pivotal time in our journey of improvement.

The LSA team supports students’ learning and behaviour on an individual or small group basis within our Learning Support facility or in the classroom.

The ideal applicant has experience of providing support to young people with additional needs, working with them effectively to facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
