Job summary

Trinity Academy seeks a Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one and small group support for students, especially those with special educational needs. You will work under the SENDCo to help students engage with lessons and reach their personal best.

The role is permanent and 37.5 hours per week, with emphasis on safeguarding, development, and flexible working options where possible. DBS checks and safeguarding duties are integral to the post.

Job description

This Learning Support Assistant post is based at Trinity Academy, a free school within the Amplify Education multi-academy trust. The work centres on giving individual students learning support, mainly those with special educational needs or other barriers to learning, under the direction of the SENDCo. It is a permanent, 37.5-hour post, with the start date given as 1 September 2026 but elsewhere as January 2027.
