Job summary

Steeple Bumpstead Primary School, part of Unity Schools Partnership, is seeking an excellent teaching assistant to join our friendly team. The role involves a mix of general classroom support and targeted help for individual children.

The post runs every day with a 3:15pm finish. The contract is 32 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, permanent and part-time; hours can be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special educational needs.

• Ability to support both general classroom activities and individual pupils.

Steeple Bumpstead Primary School is a friendly one-form entry primary school located close to Haverhill and part of the Unity Schools Partnership.

We are seeking an excellent teaching assistant to join our friendly team. The post will be a mixture of general classroom support and support for individual children.

The post will be working every day with a later school start time and finishing at 3.15pm. Hours can be discussed during interview.

• will support our trauma informed schools approach
• is passionate about supporting every child to achieve
• has the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
• is able to use their own initiative and can 'think on their feet'
• is efficient and organised
• has experience working with children with special educational needs
