Job summary

St Thomas More's Catholic Primary School in Havant is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for two afternoons per week and an Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for five mornings. The role may be split or combined depending on the candidate, with responsibilities including delivering lessons under supervision and providing targeted support to individuals and groups.

The position is permanent and part-time, aligning with term-time plus INSET days.

Five mornings would be working as an Learning Support Assistant (LSA) unless required to cover a class during this time, and in which case, you would be paid as an HLTA for this.If required by the candidate, this role may be split into either just the HLTA or the LSA position.
