Hassocks Infant School is seeking a temporary Learning Support Assistant to work 27.5 hours/week (9.00am–3.00pm), term-time only, starting as soon as possible. The post is Grade 3 (Point 3-4) with lunch duty included. The school day runs 8.50am–3.00pm, and LSAs work 9.00am–3.00pm.

Responsibilities include 1:1/small group support, assisting teachers, and running targeted interventions to aid pupil progress. Visits are encouraged; contact the school for details.

Hassocks Infant School is seeking to appoint a temporary Learning Support Assistant for 27.5 hours per week (9.00am to 3.00pm) starting as soon as possible to 21st September 2027, term time only. The grade will be Grade 3 (Point 3-4) The post will include lunch duty (with a 30-minute lunch break). Our School day is 8.50am to 3.00pm LSA's work from 9.00am to 3.00pm

We would like to appoint somebody who will:

• Offer 1:1 and small group support for individual children

• Support class teachers across the school to deliver high-quality teaching and learning

• Offer support at playtimes and lunchtimes

• Run focused interventions for identified children

The successful candidate will be:

• Committed to providing high levels of support to pupils, on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and enjoy working with children

• Forward thinking, creative and able to make learning fun

• Able to work effectively with members of the school community, including parents

• Experienced in supporting children with a range of additional needs with some experience in an educational or similar setting
