Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bereitstellung von 1:1 Unterstützung für einen Schüler der Jahrgangsstufe 4.
• Unterstützung des Lernens, der Beteiligung und der emotionalen Regulierung des Schülers.

Reeson Education is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant for a fantastic 2-form entry primary school in Surrey Quays, London Borough of Southwark.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a vibrant school with state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive Senior Leadership Team.

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Surrey Quays - London Borough of Southwark
Pay: £80 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: At least July 2025

About the Role - Learning Support Assistant:

1. Part-time position - 2 days per week
2. Providing 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with ASD, SEMH and behavioural needs
3. Supporting the pupil's learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
4. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
5. Creating a positive and structured learning environment

Requirements - Learning Support Assistant:

1. Prior experience working with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs
2. Strong communication and behaviour management skills
3. A patient, caring, and proactive approach
4. Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
5. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
