Job summary

TipTopJob in East London is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to cover schools in the Waltham Forest borough, including Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford and Highams Park. Roles are full-time and long-term, with daily rates between £85.50 and £110.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils, including those with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs, and assist teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
• Caring, patient and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of behaviour support strategies.
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Availability from September 2026.
