Woodcote High School in Greater London is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help pupils access learning, make progress, and reach their potential by working with teachers and the SEND team. You will support individuals, small groups and classes across year groups, reinforce teaching, promote independence and contribute to individual support plans while upholding safeguarding.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, make progress, and achieve their potential. Working closely with teachers and the SEND team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals, small groups, and whole classes, adapting your approach to meet a range of learning needs.
This is a flexible role, with deployment across different classes, year groups, and settings according to the academy's needs. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment by reinforcing teaching, promoting pupil independence, supporting behaviour and wellbeing, and contributing to the implementation of individual support plans.
Alongside classroom support, you will assist with assessment activities, maintain accurate records, supervise pupils during transitions and unstructured times, and undertake administrative tasks that support teaching and learning.
