Job description

Job Type: Permanent

Start Date: Thursday 20 February 2025

Hours: 28.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (08:50am-14:55pm, Wednesdays 08:30am-14:55pm), Term time only (applications for other part-time working hours will also be considered)

We are keen to appoint enthusiastic team players to join our friendly and experienced team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to inspire confidence in our students and support their learning. As students are supported in all areas of the curriculum, in both academic and practical subjects, LSAs must be prepared to work across a variety of departments and subjects.

About the Role:

As an LSA, you will support students in class, lead small groups, and work with individuals who may have learning, physical, sensory, behaviour, or communication difficulties.

  • Have a proven track record of supporting children with a variety of academic, physical, emotional, and behavioural needs

Thornden School is part of HISP Multi-Academy Trust, a forward-thinking and evidence-driven organisation. The core purpose behind the Teaching School Hubs is to become centres of excellence for teaching and leadership training and development.
