Job summary

Kirk Hallam Community Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time, term-time basis, providing support to students with additional needs in the Learning Support facility or in the classroom. The role involves assisting with learning and behaviour, safeguarding, induction and CPD opportunities, and contributing to a positive staff and student wellbeing culture.

Closing date is Monday 21st September 2026 at 8am.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kirk Hallam Community Academy. You will be joining us at an exciting and pivotal time in our journey of improvement.

The LSA team supports students' learning and behaviour on an individual or small group basis within our Learning Support facility or in the classroom.

The ideal applicant has experience of providing support to young people with additional needs, working with them effectively to facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
