Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas. The role involves assisting teachers, supporting pupils individually or in small groups, and promoting a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have school-based experience, a caring attitude, strong teamwork, and a willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS via Update Service. Flexible day-to-day and longer-term placements available with Nottingham team support.

About the Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils across a range of year groups. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
• Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Assignments can vary from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, offering flexibility and variety.
