Job summary

The Hayfield School in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs, helping them access a broad curriculum and achieve personal and academic goals.

The role is part-time, term-time only (30 hours per week, Mon-Fri), with safeguarding responsibilities and opportunities for professional development within a welcoming SEND team.

We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (Teaching Assistant) to join our school community. Core Purpose

To support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing a broad and balanced curriculum by providing targeted academic, social, emotional, and practical support. Working under the direction of the SENDCO, the Learning Support Assistant will help create an inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, wellbeing, confidence, and positive outcomes for every student. This includes direct support, collaboration with staff and families and assisting with transition where needed.
