Job summary

Ernesford Grange Academy in Coventry is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support individuals or groups of pupils, including those with SEN, under the guidance of teaching staff. You will assist with a range of learning activities and help manage the classroom to ensure all students can access the curriculum.

There is a strong focus on building positive relationships, high expectations of achievement and behaviour, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Job overview

Under the instruction/guidance of teacher or Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion and within the overall ethos of the Academy, undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specific support for those with SEN, enable access to learning for students and assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.

Working hours

Monday - 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm Term time only plus 5 days
