Job summary

Ernesford Grange Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work under the guidance of teachers to support individuals or groups of pupils, including those with SEN. You will help with care and learning activities and assist with classroom management.

You will contribute to a positive learning environment, build relationships with staff and pupils, and participate in training opportunities offered by the academy.

Job overview

Under the instruction/guidance of teacher or Assistant Head Teacher - Inclusion and within the overall ethos of the Academy, undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specific support for those with SEN, enable access to learning for students and assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.

Working hours

Monday - 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm Term time only plus 5 days
